If these walls could talk #1 and #2

Walls in an old residential building in east Berlin. Former employment office, social offices, bank and endless waiting rooms. Time stands still in concrete. Under the wallpaper were the shadows from the buildings earlier life hidden but still very present.

The series consists of 3 collages with b&w photograms made on photopaper hung straight on the wall.

After having lived in the building for 2 months the atmosphere was noticably different and I tried to photograph the impression I hoped we would leave in the walls after having moved out.

#2 is a photogram made on colour photopaper mounted straight on the wall.
