Photobook - More Somehow /museum edition
More Somehow is a transatlantic juxtaposition exploring the collaborative photograph through a process of shared film and double exposures in the blind.
Weston and Gould had a chance meet up at Fotofest Houston in 2008. An hour of swapping cards and sharing photographic sensibilities led to a handful of intermittent emails. But five years later, they began exchanging large format film across the Atlantic via their respective postal systems. More Somehow is a portfolio of some of the resultant photographs, with snippets of the extensive correspondence that shaped the photographs throughout hidden in the page folds.
An accompanying text, by Marc Lenot and Laara Matsen, was similarly written in a blind collaboration and edited together into a conversation.
