Workshop and portfolioreviewer
Helsinki Photofestival
For the photofestival in Helsinki I have been invited to hold a workshop in project presentation and development as well as take part in teh portfolio reviews as a reviewer.
The 3-day workshop will take place at the National Museum in Helsinki with two invited guest speakers, photographers Henri Airo and Nita Vera from Finland. We will focus on the presentation of a photo project as a way to understand ones own way better to develop the project further. The act of making and the act of presenting are intrinsically intertwined so improving one part of the process will necessarily improve the other. By working to improve on their own project presentation the participants will also learn how to improve their projects. The workshop will be held 24th - 26th of August.
The photofestival portfolio reviews will be held on the days after the workshop, 28th - 29th of August and I will also particpate as a porfolio reviewer here.
